Cookies and Cream Ice Cream in the Ninja Creami
Cookies and cream ice cream is one of those nostalgic flavors. I’ve been meaning to make it in my Ninja Creami for forever, but I’ve just been putting it on the back burner.
I had some special help making this recipe! Not only is this a kid-friendly Ninja Creami recipe, but it was entirely made by a kid!
I was just there to hit start and stop on the video and to snap pictures of the final product for this post!
My little man is such a natural. He’s really into photography and videography and when I told him I was going to start making videos for my blog and my healthy Ninja Creami Facebook group, he wanted to do them with me.

Ingredients
- Fairlife milk
- Vanilla extract
- Sweetener (we used granulated monk fruit but you can use your favorite sweetener)
- Oreos

Tools to make this Ninja Creami Recipe
- Ninja Creami ice cream maker – I am in love with this Ninja Creami.
- Ninja Creami Pints – I opted for these pints because they were about half the price, but be weary if you need them quickly; it took about three weeks to get here. They did have some prime options for other pint containers, but I was being thrifty.

How to make Cookies and Cream ice cream
- First, place 4 of the Oreos, the vanilla extract, and the sweetener into the Ninja Creami pint. No need to break the Oreos into pieces; place them in the pint whole.
- Then, fill with milk to the max fill line.
- Place the lid on securely and then freeze for 24 hours.
- After 24 hours, remove the lid and place the pint into the pint holder. Place the lid with the blade on top and lock into place.
- Run the Ninja Creami on the lite ice cream function. You will need to respin twice for the best texture.
- Next, create a hole in the ice cream and places the remaining Oreos in it and then select the “mix-in” function.
- Optional top with additional crushed Oreos. Enjoy!

Substitutions
For this recipe we used 2% Fairlife milk. You can also use whole milk for this recipe. If you use less than 2% milk, you may need to use an emulsifier like collagen or unflavored beef gelatin.

How to store
Store your Ninja Creami cookies and cream ice cream in the freezer with the lid on. Mine never lasts longer than a few days because I eat it all, but it should last 3 to 6 months in the freezer.
Didn’t finish all of your pint in one sitting? No worries. Simply smooth out the ice cream to make it level, place the lid on, and store it in the freezer. When you’re ready to eat your ice cream, you’ll need to select the lite ice cream function again to make it nice and creamy and ready to eat. You may need to re-spin it a few times to get the perfect texture.

Did you crush the Oreos first or put them in whole? That was never stated thanks
I put them in whole, I’m sorry it was in the video. https://youtu.be/3p4w6QC7gZ0?si=SLulCS-eJrPh_pw0
Absolutely adorable little boy demonstrating. He’s better at getting that lid on that I am.
Thank you hahaha! He absolutely love making them!
What’s the nutritional information for this icecream?
Hi Andriana, here you go: Nutrition Information per serving (1/2 the pint): 264kcals, 12.4g protein, 38.5g total carbs (1.2g fiber, 8.9g from monk fruit), 28.4g net carbs, and 10.8g fat
He did such a good job! I will be trying this one!
Thank you!
What sort of monk fruit sweetener do you use? Hoping to order some today!
Thanks 🙂
I’ve used a few different brands – this was monk fruit in the raw
Any suggestions for making this diary free? I absolutely love cookies and cream!
You can try with a vanilla flavored almond milk and then ~1 Tbsp of unflavored gelatin possibly instead of the Fairlife
He’s adorable!!!! I have to try this recipe!!
That video was so stinkin’ cute! Your son rocks! Thank him for the great recipe.
Thank you so much! He had so much fun making it!
Is there an alternative to the sweetener instead of monk fruit? Possibly higher protein? I’m just trying to make this as healthy as I possibly can but enjoy cookies.
In this post https://giveagirlaspoon.com/what-is-monk-fruit/ I go over alternatives to monk fruit. There isn’t a low calorie sweetener that has a considerable amount of protein, but you can always add some unflavored whey protein powder or some vanilla protein powder to up the protein content of the recipe.
Can I use fat free milk?
I have not tried this recipe with fat free milk – you may have to spin it a couple of extra times with the minimal fat content.
Does it matter if I have a deluxe Ninja? I had to use much more than 1 and 2/3 cup of milk to get to the fill line. Are they different sizes? I also selected “full,” before blending. Is that correct? This is my first time using my Creami.
Hi Sadie – with the deluxe as opposed to the original which I have, you need to multiple all of the amounts by 1.5 if you want it to fill all the way to the max fill line.
Adding in to my other question. The bottom never mixed (after three times) and I had to create my own well by scooping some out. The mix-in setting didn’t really break up the Oreo and it stayed on top. Any tips?
What kind of milk did you end up using?
Looks delicious! Going to pick up ingredients to make this. Your son is so adorable love his videos! Makes me happy to see kids in videos and so happy to make healthy ice cream.
Thank you so much! We appreciate your support!
